Please be very careful if people come to your door asking if you need shopping unless you know the people concerned.
The
latest virus scare has meant a lot of people are confined to home. This
situation is being exploited by the criminals according to posts on social media.
How?
They
come to peoples' doors asking if they need shopping, take the order and the
money, never to be seen again.
Please
do not accept any offers from strangers to do shopping and part with cash.
If a
stranger does come and make this offer, give them the list but no money and pay
on their return with the shopping and the till receipt. Then, and only then,
pay them.
Please only deal with people you know and trust.
