Cyprus Airways said on Monday that it is making temporary changes to its flight schedule because of developments with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
It said that it is waiving the penalty for passengers traveling between March 9 and April 10 who booked their tickets before February 29 and wish to change their travel date.
If there is a fare difference, the amount will be collected as usual.
Customers who booked their tickets directly with Cyprus Airways, should contact the company’s Call Centre for any ticket changes at 8000 8111 (National toll free) or at +357 24000053 (international calls). Customers who booked their tickets through a travel agency should contact their agency for such changes.
In addition, the airline said it plans to proceed with certain flight cancellations for the months of March and April. All affected passengers will be informed about their cancelled flights via email and will be offered alternative travel arrangements. Passengers can ask for specific dates of travel at no extra cost or ask for a full refund.
Cyprus Airways said it is monitoring the situation closely and following the instructions of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on this important issue. For any further information please visit www.cyprusairways.com
