in-cyprus 25 March 2020 - Bouli Hadjioannou
Car dealerships will shut from 6 am on March 25 until 6 am on April 13 under a new decree issued by Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou late on Tuesday adding these businesses to those required to close.
However, in another change an exception has been made, so that retail businesses that sell medical equipment and supplies and those that sell car spare parts are excluded from yesterday’s decree.
That decree had suspended the operation of retail businesses with some exceptions.
In addition, the prohibition to all unnecessary movement effective from 6 pm today will not cover divorced/separated parents who need to keep contact with their children as well as the disabled or individuals with chronic conditions undertaking treatment.
Finally, the Justice Ministry and Transport Ministry have been labelled as basic services under the decree.
