Internet use is now a daily routine for the vast majority of people in the world. In line with the rapid
evolution of information technology, there is also the need for all of us to be informed and to advise
on Internet security issues. In this context, the Cyprus Police and the Office for the Fight against
Cybercrime have launched a dedicated website on cybercrime.
The website went online last week and is run by the Cybercrime Bureau. By typing
www.cyberalert.cy , one can find information and tips on internet security issues, as well as
submit online complaints and complaints about cybercrime.
