HELPFUL SECURITY TIPS FROM THE POLICE




Notice from the Police:

In the last week or so, several cases of robbery have been reported against unsuspecting citizens. 
The perpetrators of various prophecies or other methods succeeded in reaching the homes of the 
citizens. In both cases, the perpetrators immobilized the tenants and in one case they managed 
and stole property. The public is called upon to be particularly cautious, as perpetrators rely on 
various pretexts to gain entry to a home. 

Helpful Tips:

• Never open the door without making sure you know the visitor. Check who is knocking on 
the door from the eye or through a door / door intercom
• Place the door on the safety chain
• If you are living in an apartment building make sure that the main entrance of the 
apartment building is closed and that people who are not related to the area cannot enter. 
Pay attention to the entrance to your apartment, install a compact front door and a lock 
that provides a high level of security.
• Do not give keys to cleaners / cleaners or other persons
• Do not leave a second key under pots or mats
• Do not leave the key in the door lock, either externally or internally

• Close shutters and curtains to prevent burglars from seeing what is inside your home.
