The roads Karvouna - Troodos, Platres - Troodos and Prodromos - Troodos are ONLY open to vehicles on all
four wheels or fitted with anti-skid chains. Also, Kakopetria - Karvouna road is open to all vehicles, but slippery, and
there is dense fog in the area. It is noted that the situation on the mountain road network is changing due to the
prevailing weather conditions. Drivers are urged to be informed of the state of the road network through police
communications prior to their departure.
