Bank of Cyprus is warning unsuspecting clients of a new scam using its name.
On a post on its Facebook page it said that any emails or calls received by customers in the past few days asking that they register or confirm personal information for the Bank of Cyprus are a scam.
“Please forward any suspicious messages to: Abuse@Bankofcyprus.Com. If you believe you have shared your personal information in any way, please contact us at 800 00 800 or + 357 22 128000 if you are calling from abroad,” it added.
