Please note that the tax[es] payable are now on JCC Smart for payment if you wish to settle your account for the local Immovable Property Tax by this method.
Where the JCC Smart account is in the husband's name [or the first name on the joint account with the council], please note that if you own your property in joint names, you will be able to settle your partner's portion of the tax on the same account - it will go through as two different transactions, per the code shown on the invoice you will have received. This means that you will need to enter both codes onto JCC Smart and the sum[s] payable will be taken separately.
As mentioned before, if you have your title deeds and do not receive an invoice from Tala Council for the tax within the next 10 days, please call into the office with your title deeds so that the matter can be investigated.
