Driving under the influence of alcohol 🥂🍻🍺2nd cause of fatal road traffic crashes, 22.27% over the
last 5️⃣ years. The choice is yours.
The limit on the proportion of exhaled or blood alcohol is:
(a) For all cases, except as referred to in paragraph (b) below, 22 milligrams of microgrammes of alcohol per
100 milliliters ) exhalation, or 50 milligrams of alcohol to 100 milliliters of blood.
(b) For the cases referred to in subparagraphs (i) to (vi) below, 9 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of exhalation,
or 20 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood :
(i) Person driving any machine. Vehicle and hold a driving license for any category issued within a period of less
than three (3) years.
(ii) Person driving any engine. Vehicle with apprentice driving license.
(iii) Person driving engine. Vehicle of category L1 to L7e (two-wheel, three-wheel, four-wheel).
(iv) Person driving a N2, N3 truck or M2, M3 bus.
(v) Person driving a Taxi and in service.
(vi) Person driving a vehicle transporting dangerous goods.
