Message from the British High Commission:
The British government has launched the Get Ready for
Brexit campaign, for those that use Facebook there is a short video here:
The message is that there are 4 things that Brits
overseas should do:
- Ensure they are
correctly registered with the immigration authorities with either MEU1 or
MEU3. Brown ARC books, stamps in passports & old Immigration Permits
issued pre Cyprus joining the EU are obsolete.
- Register for healthcare
where applicable.
- Ensure that their
passport is valid for any future travel.
- Exchange their UK
driving license for a Cypriot one.

In other news, British High Commission Consular staff
will be at Party In The Park, Happy Valley, Episkopi in Limassol on Saturday 28th
September between 10.30 and 16.00 to answer questions from UK residents about
healthcare, residency and of course Brexit.
