A targeted operation by members of the Police Department of Paphos was held yesterday and at
dawn today in Paphos, aiming at preventing crime and fatal and serious road conflicts.
During the operation, which took place in Chlorakas, Emba, Lemba, Kato Paphos, Tombs of the
Kings, Dima area, etc. between 430pm yesterday - 3.30am Today a total of 120 vehicles and
150 persons were audited with the participation of members of the HEP, the Traffic Police and
other members of the PAPA IDA, and 81 road accidents were reported.
Also, motorized patrols were conducted to prevent offenses against property, without causing
anything to blame.
