The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) will issue a call for tenders for the installation of photovoltaics at its headquarters.
The system is expected to reduce the electricity bill at the authority’s headquarters by 45%, philenews reported.
It said that a 480 kWh system will be installed to replace the existing outdated 80 kWh system, which was placed when the building was completed.

The project is estimated to cost around €550,000 and is expected to be finished by March 2020.
