Re the non-collection of refuse in those areas affected, the regular collectors have assured the Council that they will pick up the refuse today - Thursday. They still have one vehicle off the road following the accident earlier this week.
In the event that they do not collect today, the Council will arrange for another contractor to collect the refuse. Please understand that refuse wagons are booked to capacity so we have to wait for an available slot.
