UK sanctions regimes if there’s no Brexit deal
This page provides links to legislation and guidance on implementing UK and UN sanctions if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
Leaving the EU with a deal remains the government’s top priority. This has not changed. However a responsible government must plan for every eventuality, including a no deal scenario.
We have published a technical notice on our sanctions policy if there is no Brexit deal.
This page provides links to new regulations under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (the Sanctions Act) and associated documentation. It will be updated with new information as it becomes available, including with new statutory guidance for UK sanctions regulations as they are laid before Parliament.
If a deal is finalised before we leave the EU, these pages will be updated to reflect any changes.
