Following a discussion with Mrs Lambrou, the Paphos District Officer, this morning, I have the following update for you:
1 The District Office won their appeal through the Supreme Court on 27 March. The developer was found guilty.
2 The report from the ad hoc engineering committee is expected next week. On receipt of this, serious measures are anticipated to address the condition of the building.
A further update will follow as soon as information is available. Everyone is working as quickly as they can to resolve the matter given their concerns for the safety of those using the road and those who live in the immediate area.
