Thieves in Paphos attempted to steal cash from an ATM by ramming it with a pickup truck, reports said on Wednesday.
According to local news outlet Pafos Press, the incident happened early in the morning but it appears the perpetrators failed to breach the machine, which was located outside a convenience store on the Kissonerga to Peyia road.
They fled the scene in the vehicle, which was found abandoned in a field some 200 metres from the scene, Pafos Press said.
It had been reported stolen from Chloraka the previous night.
