Due to the volume of water flowing into the reservoirs, the pumps are struggling to cope with the volume and the quality of water is deteriorating as a result.
With immediate effect until, probably, early next week, the Water Board will not be sending water through the network of pipes but will be sending tankers of clean waters to fill up the various tanks around the village. There may be periods when the tanks cannot get here quickly enough and water may not be available.
Please note that this situation is affecting not only Paphos area but Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia.
Please therefore be economical with water until matters are back to normal.
