The police will launch their first road safety campaign of the year on Monday, focussing on speeding.
Speeding is one of the main causes of traffic accidents around the world and in Cyprus is the third highest reason for causing fatalities on the road.
The campaign will take place across the island with the aim of showing how much of a problem speeding is and sensitising the public to it. It will run until Sunday January 13.
