KAMARES CLUB LIBRARY & DVD RENTAL
Most of you know of our library in the club but I am
sure there are newcomers to our community who are not yet aware of this
wonderful facility. The library has a
huge selection of adult books which consists of novels in all genres and many Autobiographies.
To keep the content fresh we operate as a book swap. i.e. bring a book and swap
with one from the library. If you do not
have a book to swap there is a small charge of €1 to get
you started.
In addition to our wonderful selection of books we
also have a vast collection of DVD’s which cover all tastes. Many TV series plus all the latest films,
classic films and even history of world wars.
Most of the films are rented for €1 which you
can be kept for one week.
It is a non-profit library and uses any monies to
purchase new items and keep the content up to date. We also contribute to charitable causes when
funds allow.
We are open on Wednesday afternoons from
2pm – 5pm and the facility is open to all Tala residents, visitors and guests
In the 15 years since it started we have never
closed unless it was Christmas Day or New Years Day. This is quite an achievement and credit must
be given to the unfailing volunteers who give up their time each week to work in
the library for the benefit of the community.
