The road transport department (RTD) will start renewing car taxes from Monday, 9 January 2017.
The deadline for payment is 11 March after which date a
€10 fine will be imposed plus 10% of the tax amount payable.

A valid MOT certificate and car insurance are
necessary for renewal.
