Please note that the new tenant, for personal
reasons, handed back the keys for the amphitheatre cafe on the day of the first
Jersey Boys show earlier this month. To avoid disappointment, Areti and I
organised a limited bar [wine, beer, soft drinks, fruit juice and water] for the
nights of the two Jersey Boys shows and Areti herself, with some assistance, ran
the bar the two nights in question. I understand one or two people were
disappointed that spirits were not available and there was a limited selection
of wine, but as we did not know what drinks tended to be popular we opted for
the usual favourites.
New tenants have now been found and may be known to
those of you who live in Kamares. The tenants are Tasos and Penny
Mouskis.
Tasos and Penny have issued the following short
message:
The New Management of the AMPHITHEATRE CAFÉ look forward to
welcoming you for drinks, light meals, theatre suppers and much more when the
café fully reopens. In the meantime you can purchase beer, wine, water and soft
drinks at all events. Please note that as there is a licensed cafe on the
premises, cool boxes and/or food cannot be taken into the
Amphitheatre.
