Police are seeking information that can help locate Charalambos Paraskevas, 37, against whom a court arrest warrant is pending in connection with an ongoing case of illegal possession of drugs with intent to supply to another person, committed on October 16, 2024, in Limassol.
On the morning of October 16, 2024, members of the YKAN tried to stop a car driven by the 37-year-old on a Limassol road. However, as soon as the driver noticed the members of the Police, he developed speed and fled. In this attempt, the 37-year-old's vehicle collided with two police vehicles, resulting in minor injury to a police officer.
YKAN members followed the 37-year-old, who managed to enter the British Bases area and escape. During the chase, the 37-year-old was seen throwing a bag out of the car, which was later found to contain a quantity of cannabis, with a gross weight of 11kg and 600g.
