COACH OUTING DEPARTING TALA 10 JUNE
A party of medical professionals is visiting Cyprus and a private coach trip has been organised. There are available places for anyone who is interested.
The coach will start at Tala with pick up at 8am [prompt] from the parking area below Casa Luna Restaurant. The bus will then travel to the Mediterranean Beach Hotel, Limassol to pick up the visiting medical professionals at around 9am with departure from there 9.30am.
After the sightseeing and lunch, the medical professionals will be dropped off at the Alexander the Great Hotel in Paphos mid-afternoon, and the coach will return to Tala, dropping off the remaining passengers at the parking area by Casa Luna Restaurant.
There will be around 36 empty seats on the coach. If anyone is interested in joining the trip, please contact Tim on 99 532581. The transfer
coach cost per person will be €400/number of passengers payable on the bus. We
currently have 18 (including the organiser). Entry free to 1. & 2.
for pensioners but participants should bring proof of Date of Birth, e.g.
driving license or I.D card.
Site-seeing stops and lunch stop en route to Paphos:

Crusader castle is next to
the remains of a 14th century sugar mill dating from the days when
Cyprus grew a lot of sugar cane. There are toilet facilities.

Archaeological site with classical period ruins, fine mosaics, and
restored amphitheatre,
[where a high-quality performance
of a Shakespeare play is put on every June. King Lear this year but after your
departure:20-22nd June]. There are toilet facilities.
- Lunch
break: Kyrenia Beach Bar Restaurant, Avdimou
Stop about 2 hours for lunch. Individuals choose from the food and drinks menus and pay their own way direct to the restaurant. The proprietor is called George, who speaks English fluently. Starters €2-6.50

Drive
on to Paphos for mid afternoon delegate drop-off & check into the Alexander the
Great hotel . The coach will then
return to Tala to drop off remaining passengers in the parking area below the
Casa Luna restaurant.
