Five deaths due to coronavirus were announced by the Ministry of Health, while in the last week 2.482 new cases of the virus were detected.
Analytically:
- 5 deaths announced
They concern:
- Man, aged 78, who passed away on 09/09/2022
- Woman, aged 86, who passed away on 10/09/2022
- Man, aged 94, who passed away on 13/09/2022
- Woman, aged 94, who passed away on 14/09/2022
- Man, aged 91, who passed away on 15/09/2022
- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,178.
- 47 COVID-19 patients are being treated in SHSO hospitals
- 5 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/1 intubated, MAF: 4)
- 3 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized by intubation due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 61,364 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2,482 new cases were detected (total cases 582,381).
- Positivity rate in all tests 4.04%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 2,396 molecular tests were performed
- There were 143 positive cases
- Positivity rate 5.97%
Total number of Rapid Antigen Tests:
- 58,968 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 2,339 positive cases
- Positivity rate 3.97%
Tracking:
- 4 molecular tests were performed and no positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0%)
Private initiative:
- 2,102 molecular tests were performed, 117 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.57%)
- 41,538 rapid antigen tests were performed, 2,226 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.36%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 17,430 rapid antigen tests were carried out. 113 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 9,689 rapid detection tests identified 60 positive cases (positivity rate 0.62%)
Other
- National Guard: 136 rapid antigen tests were performed and 10 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.35%)
- Nursing homes: 4,540 rapid antigen tests were performed, 35 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.77%)
- Closed facilities: 3,065 rapid antigen tests were performed, 8 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.26%).
