Haji Mike is no stranger to Val's Place. His annual appearance at our venue is like a pilgrimage by the Nicosia based artist who comes to Gialia always on a special musical mission. This year is no different as he is joined by a full band, Murphy's Brother In Law who back Haji Mike with live and original Reggae. Its a unique experience in the natural vibe of Val's.
Murphy's Brother In Law are a lively blues band from Nicosia performing favourite blues, folk, classic rock and rock n roll, featuring George Constantinou (vocals, guitar), Jim Themis (lead guitar), Mike Zachariades (bass) and Spyros Kyriakides (drums). They cover songs by Blues and Rock legends including BB King, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, The Beatles and Bob Dylan.
The band is currently working on it's own original material and at the same time collaborating with Haji Mike.
