Data on the evolution of vaccination coverage of the population until 12 August, published by the Ministry of Health.
In total until yesterday at least 76.3% of the adult population (18+) were vaccinated with the 1st dose.
The proportion of the adult population who completed their vaccination regimen reached 70% (69.9%), achieving an important target set, as noted.
Vaccination coverage of at least 1st dose per age group is as follows:

A total of at least 76.3%of the adult population (18+) was vaccinated until yesterday. At least 31.8% of 16-17 year olds received the 1st dose and 21.6% of this age group completed vaccination. At younger ages (12-15), the 1st dose was administered at 8.3% during the first ten days when vaccinations began at these ages (2-12 August).
In relation to vaccination coverage by Province, as shown in the map attached, Paphos still holds the reins with 86.9%of its population having received at least the 1st dose. This is followed by Famagusta and Nicosia Provinces with 84% and 76.2% respectively and Limassol Province with 74.4%. Finally, Larnaca Province continues to have the lowest vaccination coverage rate with 70.4%.
Between 15 July and yesterday, 22,701 vaccinations were carried out in the free-to-attendance centres operating in Cyprus.
