The Pafos Municipality announces that today, Friday 29 December, construction works will be carried out at the junction of Nikos Antoniades, Gladstonos and Ioannis Agrotis streets, as part of the last phase of the Municipality's project "Regeneration of the traditional core of the Anavargo District and the southern area of the traditional commercial centre of Pafos".
The works concern the removal of part of existing asphalt and the application of new asphalt paving.
For the period from the start of the works at 7.00 a.m. until 12.00 of the said day, a closure of the ascending lane of Gladstonos Street (from Kato Paphos to Kennedy Square) will be implemented and traffic will be channelled through Nikodimou Mylona Street.
Also, on the same day from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. a closure of the descent lane of Gladstonos Street (from Kennedy Square to the junction of Ioannis Agroti and Gladstonos streets) will be implemented and traffic will be channeled to Kato Paphos via Griva – Digeni Avenue and 25th Martiou and Ioannis Agrotis streets.
Safe access for pedestrians to homes and businesses will be ensured throughout the works.
