From Monday 9 to Friday 13 October 2023, at the Alhambra interchange with the Limassol – Nicosia motorway, water pipeline laying works will be carried out by the Water Development Department, according to the Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.
According to an announcement by the Department of Public Works, which is transmitted by the PIO, during the execution of the works, the entrance from Alhambra to the A1 motorway in the direction of Nicosia will be closed and traffic to Nicosia will be channeled from Agia Varvara junction through the old Nicosia-Limassol road (B1).
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
