A fire broke out just west of the community of Kathikas in the Pafos district.
According to the spokesman of the Fire Brigade, Andreas Kettis, three fire trucks from the Pafos Rural Stations responded as well as two leased firefighting helicopters.
As Mr. Kettis clarifies, the fire is located in a ravine in an inaccessible area of dry grasses and wild vegetation and is the business responsibility of the Department of Forests.
