GREEN POINTS - PAPHOS DISTRICT




GREEN  POINTS, Paphos District

For the FREE disposal and re-cycling of unwanted domestic items.

Your nearest one is situated at Peyia.  From the coast road, drive 2 km up the road to Akoursos and turn left at the large oblong white sign, as indicated by a Blue Arrow.

September 2018 - a new centre is due to open shortly at Chlorakas.

Opening Times:-
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday    0800 – 1600.
                               Saturday                                                     0800 – 1400.
                               Closed   Wednesday  and  Sunday.

Times are a guide only.  Please contact the establishment to check if you are unsure.  Hours may vary between Summer and Winter seasons.  

Centres closed on Bank Holidays.

Approx  24 recyclable categories are accepted but some items such as plasterboard, asbestos and roofing felt are not accepted as they are not recyclable.

You will be met on arrival at the site and after checking your load you will be directed up the ramp to the appropriate skip.  Details of your load, name, village and car registration number will be entered into a duplicate book which you will be asked to sign and you will be given a carbon copy.
There is no charge but this paperwork is necessary for the contractor to be paid.


Other Green Points are situated at Koloni, Ayia Vavara and Chrysochou Village.  A centre at Chlorakas opens shortly.
